Wolf Trap Live Is Live

Robert Llewellyn/Wolf TrapFOR SOME FOLKS, Wolf Trap is an awfully long ride out on the Dulles Toll Road, but the United States' only national park for the performing arts is now accessible anywhere via the 'Net. The new Wolf Trap Live blog launched late last month and promises to deliver updated news about Wolf Trap and the performers who will be making their way through the place. The blog's contributors are Chris Guerre, Mike Holden, Catherine Porterfield and Annmarie Robustelli. And there's some good stuff coming out of the blog: Bonnie Raitt is officially a "chick who rocks"; Wolf Trap's Summer iMix is red hot on iTunes; and there's even an official Flickr account (The Filene Center's lawn looks ready to serve when it opens later this month.).

  • Thirteen miles is still a pretty long way out, espeically if you don't have a car.

  • Thanks for the write-up about the new blog, Mike.

Here's the link to the page with Metro details for Wolf Trap. There's a shuttle that runs from the West Falls Church stop on the Orange Line to the Filene Center on show nights in the summer.http://wolftrap.org/services/metroaccess.html
