AS THE BIRTHDAY of murdered ex-Pantera rocker Dimebag Darrell last month approached, E! had a great idea: Let's remember him by re-enacting his being gunned down by a crazy fan as a part of a "Most Chilling Hollywood Murders" special! Hmm, but to do that, they'd have to get licensing for the footage of the murder, which was caught by a stationary stage camera. "Hey, no problem!" they say. "We'll just ask his old PR rep if she minds a gory re-visitation of the slaying. We're sure his family and friends won't mind. After all, who would turn down E!, right?" [KNAC-FM]
