A New Attempt for Cursed 'Fun St.' Space

HOW APPROPRIATE for Fun Street (aka F Street NW, between 6th and 7th streets). According to blog Gallery Place Living, the Maryland-based chain The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille has filed permits for "the interior demolition of finishes and furnishings of existing restaurant." That existing restaurant would be Drinx, which despite having seemingly prime Verizon Center street-level frontage, never really took off, just like every other attempt to make that space successful.

And with a slogan like "Burgers, Wings, Sports: A Shelluva Good Time," The Greene Turtle is sure to add to the funness of Fun Street.
