Styles: Temperatures Rise

2007-06-20-lips.gifYELLOW FEVER, SCARLET FEVER. Traditionally, when colors and fever unite, our first instinct is quarantine, not cosmetics. But Color Fever Shine ($24, lancome-usa.com) took fever and made it, well, hot.

The lipstick feels more like a gloss, providing a light sheen in bright hues like the fiery pink Hot Nights and the bubble gum Pink Sizz. But keeping it on takes dedicated reapplication, as the color constantly contaminates coffee cups and all the other steamy stuff you may pucker up for. Not cool.
