Feds Cast Doubt on Tysons Rail; Saga Drags On
THE QUEST to extend Metrorail to serve Tysons Corner and eventually Dulles Airport might be best described as a massive ping-pong game, except instead of two players, the table has room for five or six teams. And one of the dominant players, the Federal Transit Administration, has issued a report saying that the estimated cost to build the rail line has increased so much that it may not meet federal funding guidelines.
