War Zone Diaries: A Report of Gunfire

Map It:  Gallery Pl-Chinatown

Photo by Dayna Smith/The Washington Post THIS MONTH, the Fringe Festival offers up many timely offerings, and none more so than "A Report of Gunfire," a one-man show that gives a war correspondent's view of life in Iraq.

It's bleak, it's dangerous, it's scary. Iraq, not the play. The play is very good — it covers one of the strangest (and in some ways most noble) professions.

  • I'm noticing longer lines in grocery stores and in retail as well, with as many youth needing jobs this summer where are they? I received one of my jobs that way, being in the right place at the right time.
