Highly Ranked: B.B. King

Photo by Martial Trezzini/AFP "ROLLING STONE" considers itself an authority on all things music-related, and so it authoritatively made a list of the 100 Greatest Guitarist's of All Time. At No. 1 is Jimi Hendrix. Fair enough. No. 2 is Duane Allman, and lucky No. 3 is our man B.B. King.

I dig King not only because of his skill, but because of his drive not to submit to old age. At almost 83 years old, he still tours year round, spreading the bluesy love.

He says "The Thrill Is Gone," but, if I may, it seems that he's found quite the opposite in life. Get your thrills at Wolf Trap on Sunday.
