So Bad, It's Awesome: 'Sweet Dirty Tony'

topstoptony.jpg IN ATTEMPTING TO write a post about "Sweet Dirty Tony," I searched for information and hardly found any. This can only mean one thing: This movie is so bad it's good. Here is the description I found on Rotten Tomatoes:

"A Key West boat skipper is forced by the Mafia to assist a group of professional killers hired by the government to carry out a plot involving the murder of Fidel Castro. After a series of double crosses (not to mention man-eating turtles) things get somewhat out of hand. Also known as 'Cuba Crossing,' and 'Sweet Violent Tony.'"
So, the plot is ridiculous, and the movie has alternate titles? Cinematic alter-egos?

Too good to be true.

Get yourself to Arlington Cinema 'N' Drafthouse and have a beer and a great laugh at a bad movie.
