Feeling Better Already: Apothecary Museum

apothecary.jpg BACK IN THE Middle Ages (and even a little more recently), apothecaries would throw some herbs and chemicals together to heal the sick -- or poison them.

These days, pharmacists are a little more careful, but why not live on the wild side and check out the Stabler-Leadbeater open house on Saturday? this may be as close as you come to a bottle of opium that's not perfume.
