Days of Our Palestinian Lives: 'Matabb'

Photo courtesy Goethe-Institut BEGINNING WEDNESDAY: The fine art of soap opera has come to the Palestinian territories. The show is called "Matabb" (which translates as "Speed Bump") and it's filled with love! passion! death! tears! backstabbing! and all the other things that make soap operas addictive.

The Goethe-Institut will show all ten episodes in installments over the next two weeks. Oh, and since it's foreign, it counts as cultural enrichment, even if it's a little bit trashy.
