Greatest Fan Of Your Life: Edwin McCain

WEDNESDAY: We all have our favorite ballads. You know, the ones that bring out the inner sap in all of us. Edwin McCain's "I'll Be" is one of those ditties. C'mon, you can't hold back those waterworks when he tells you he'll be "your crying shoulder" and "love's suicide."

You can hear more of McCain's bluesy folk, along with classics like "I Could Not Ask for More," at the Barns at Wolf Trap. Also, check out his 2008 covers release, "Nobody's Fault But Mine." Need more '90s? Chris Barron, lead singer of the Spin Doctors (remember "Two Princes"?) will be opening.
