He's Still No Angel: Gregg Allman at State Theatre

TUESDAY: As you enter the first week of 2009, remember it's all about perspective. Sure, we're all broke, and it's friggin' cold out. Too bad. Did you once call yourself Cher's husband and have to cancel a tour last year due to your battle with hepatitis C?

Yes? Well then you must be Gregg Allman. The legendary bluesy rocker returns to play the State Theater at 8:30 p.m.

As for the rest of you: Quit your whining and head out to Allman's show. You're going to listen to songs like "Whipping Post" and "I'm No Angel," and, by golly, you're going to like it.
