Satisfy Your Taste Buds:Inauguration Cupcakes

georgetowncupcake.jpg THIS WEEK: Inauguration week bursts with souvenirs, from plates to baseball caps to those weird Obama soft toys. All of which will be cluttering up your attic and closet for years, if not decades to come. But it's possible to commemorate the inauguration with something you don't have to keep. Not everything has to be saved for our grandchildren. On that note, how would you like an inauguration cupcake?

Along with their other flavors for the month, Georgetown Cupcake will carry inauguration-themed cupcakes. Don't expect pictures of the new president or vaguely-embarrassing slogans like "Your Mama for Obama." These are simple, classy and delicious, with each bearing either the inscription "Yes We Can" or the presidential seal.

The cupcakes are available every day during inauguration week at the shop or via special order throughout January.
