Love's Duet: 'Opposite You'
SATURDAY: Fine, fine. Maybe you're not upset about Valentine's Day. Maybe you're in love! Maybe you bought your significant other a little teddy bear with hearts for eyes and a sign saying "I love you!" Don't tell anyone; your life could be in danger.
Find refuge at the Kennedy Center with "Opposite You," a concert by married couple Jason Danieley (pictured at right) and Marin Mazzie. She's got three Tony Award nominations; he's got a sparkling career that includes several D.C. appearances. They're adorable together, and they gravitate toward fun, unusual music that even Broadway fans won't have heard.
It's gonna be romantic. It's gonna be adorable. If that's the mood you're in, knock yourself out.
» Kennedy Center, 2700 F St. NW; Sat., Feb. 14, 7:30 p.m., $45; 202-497-4600. (Foggy Bottom)
