I have been an avid fan of Parliament Funkadelic since early my pre-teen years. Not only was their stage show above and beyond anything you could ever imagine, their roster and quality of musicians are still some of the greatest ever assembled. Guided by the mastermind George Clinton and his many characters (Dr. Funkenstein,Sir Nose d Void of funk, Starchild,The Long Head Sucker among many others)he assembled some of the greatest musicians ever recorded w/Bernie Worrell,Jerome Brailey, the late, great Eddie Hazel and Michael Hampton. His vocal arranging is still unparallel, with the tight harmonies of Fuzzy Haskins,Calvin Simon,Gary Shider and Glen Goins. As a now aging Funkateer (I'm now 45 yrs.old) I still watch The Landing of the Mothership DVD on a regular and am even more convinced that Parliament Funkadelic was and still is one of the greatest bands EVER assembled. Believe me I'm a true Funkateer, I would know!Laughing at ya...
