People: Judge Bans the Release of Danielle Staub Sex Tape

One of the stars of Bravo's "Real Housewives of New Jersey" has stopped her ex from releasing a sex tape of the couple — at least temporarily. A judge on Wednesday ordered an injunction banning the release of any sexually explicit video or pictures pending a hearing next month. Danielle Staub says Stephen Zalewski is trying to get back at her for breaking up with him.

A collection of 130 letters and notes written by the late German actress Marlene Dietrich sold Wednesday for $4,200. The letters span four decades. One letter from 1969 discloses Dietrich's perspective on stardom: "Either one is a world star or not. ... I feel uneasy in my own skin. Spiritually, of course."

Perez Hilton said Tuesday that he would continue to say things upsetting to gay and straight people alike. The comments came after GLAAD called for Hilton to apologize for unleashing a gay slur during an altercation at a nightclub with Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am. "I did what I thought was best at the moment to stand up for myself in a nonviolent yet still assertive way," he said. The blogger sued the Peas' manager in Los Angeles on Wednesday for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Polo Molina was arrested in Toronto early Monday after he allegedly punched Hilton.

Christie Brinkley is selling a new line of jewelry through a Rhode Island-based retailer. A spokesman for Ross-Simons, based in Cranston, R.I., said Wednesday that Brinkley's CeleBrate line debuted in catalogs, stores and online on June 19. Brinkley has also created lines of eyewear and eco-friendly fabrics.

GLUTEN NOT PLEASED EITHER WAY
Elisabeth Hasselbeck says a claim that she plagiarized parts of her best-selling diet book is "without merit." Hasselbeck, of "The View," defended "The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide" on the air Wednesday. Susan Hassett, a self-published author on Cape Cod, alleges in the lawsuit filed that Hasselbeck lifted content from her book.
