People: Nicole Kidman Cameos on All-Star Editon of 'Project Runway'

Cable's Lifetime network says Nicole Kidman will make a cameo on a special edition of the "Project Runway" franchise, "Project Runway: All-Star Challenge." She will help set up a design contest for eight top contestants from past seasons. The special airs 8 p.m. Thursday, just before the long-awaited debut of the series' sixth season.

Tony Danza will be facing an audience of Philadelphia 10th-graders for an A&E reality show called "Teach." School commissioners approved the filming of the series on Wednesday. Beginning this fall, Danza will be co-teaching an English class.

Billy Joel is selling a pair of oceanfront properties in Long Island's Hamptons community. One home belonged to late "Jaws" actor Roy Scheider. Joel bought it for his now-estranged wife in 2004. He also purchased a bungalow on adjacent property in 2007.

NBC EXCITED TO REPLAY INTERVIEWS OVER AND OVER
The lawyer for Richard Hatch says the "Survivor" winner was taken to jail because he granted two TV interviews without permission from the federal Bureau of Prisons. Hatch had been serving the remainder of his prison term for tax evasion at home. He granted three television interviews this week — to NBC's "Today" show, NBC affiliate WJAR-TV and the NBC-owned "Access Hollywood." Hatch's lawyer, Cynthia Ribas, says the bureau told her it gave permission only for the interview with "Today." She says she thought the permission extended to all NBC properties.

Rapper Pitbull, whose chart-climbing songs have made him a bilingual favorite, was honored Wednesday with the key to Miami. "Pitbull not only lives in Miami, but he's been traveling the country and the world sharing a positive message of Miami," said Miami Commissioner Thomas Regalado at the Wednesday ceremony.

MUSICIAN SHUNS ORPHANS, DARFUR, NEW ORLEANS IN SELECTION OF CHARITY
James Taylor plans to donate his $500,000 in earnings from a five-day music festival next week to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Taylor told the Boston Globe that he decided to donate his earnings because he and his wife are concerned about diminishing support for classical music. The newspaper reports that the couple also donated more than $700,000 between 2005 and 2008 to the orchestra.
