MALAYSIA NOT PUTTING A RING ON IT
"Beyonce Knowles has postponed a planned concert in Malaysia, the organizer said Monday. She had been scheduled to perform in Kuala Lumpur on Oct. 25. The show "has been postponed to a future date" to be announced, said entertainment company Marctensia. A representative declined to say whether the decision was prompted by criticism from the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, which has called for the show to be scrapped because it would promote "Western sexy performances."

One of New Jersey's biggest rock stars is trying to give a boost to the state's poorest city. Jon Bon Jovi was in Camden on Monday helping volunteers build a new playground at Rafael Cordero Molina Elementary School. His Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation has become a big player in the network of charities trying to boost a city that consistently ranks as one of the nation's most impoverished. The group is also helping pay to turn vacant lots into landscaped public spaces. Bon Jovi is also involved in a project to provide affordable housing in Newark.

ITEM ABOUT KATE GOSSELIN ACTUALLY MENTIONS HER KIDS
Kate Gosselin admitted to Vanity Fair that her kids have been "acting out." "I'm trying to give them the grace to see, if they're acting out of line, I'm trying to look deeper into why that is," she tells the magazine. "Why the kids are acting out. Cause it's all interrelated. I mean, they don't see it, but it's all interconnected."

DEMANDS
RECENTLY DECEASED LOBSTERS WERE ACCEPTABLE
Paris Hilton did not demand that live lobsters be cooked fresh for her on a movie set, her rep told USmagazine.com. The New York Post alleged that Hilton's contract for a cameo in the film "The Other Guys" included the request for the lobsters, a bottle of Grey Goose vodka and other luxuries.
