» How They Met: At a mutual friend's wedding. Mike saw Candace sitting alone and asked her to dance. They talked baseball, and he gave her tips about buying Cubs tickets.

» First Impressions: "He was so sweet and seemed like such a sincere person. And he had a Boston accent!" "She was (is) gorgeous and a sports fan."

» First Date: Harry's Tap Room in Clarendon.

» How He Proposed: During a trip to the Shenandoah. He gave her a book of photos of their relationship, and "the rest is a blur," she says.

» Mmm, Cake: Mike's groom's cake is a 3-D replica of Fenway Park.
