» The Main Event: They'll marry Nov. 21 in Hartford, Conn., with a small reception that day. A bigger party in D.C. will follow on Dec. 6.

» Honeymoon: None due to time constraints at work, but "the last 20 years have been one anyway!" Ed says.

» How They Met: Ed took out a personal ad in the Washington Blade, which Stephen answered more than 20 years ago.

» First Impressions: "I fell for his big brown eyes and furry chest; then he gave me his impish smile and I was lost," Ed says. "Love at first sight," Stephen says.

» First Date: Drinks at the DC Eagle.

» How He Proposed: They'd been talking about making their relationship official, and one morning Ed proposed over coffee. "After my second cup of coffee, I still wanted to marry him."

» Pet Names: Stephen is Ed's "Kewpie doll."

» Wedding Jitters: "It'll be a windy day and my kilt will blow up," Stephen says.
