Best Indie Women's Boutique: Treat

WASHINGTON'S FIRST and only "sample sale boutique," this Old Town shop recently expanded into bigger digs to better house its tidy collection of overstock and end-of-season designer duds (Marc Jacobs, Milly, J Brand), complete with deeply discounted price tags but a decidedly boutique-y vibe.
"People love to get a bargain and to be able to say, 'I got this for a steal!'" says owner Jennifer Donohue.
Owner's Tip: The unspoken tagline is, "You snooze, you lose," with new goods arriving nearly weekly with fast-as-a-flash turnover.
