Best Restaurant: Zaytinya

THIS D.C. STALWART'S Middle Eastern-inspired small-plate fare allows diners to try myriad dishes before they're too full for dessert. Chef Mike Isabella was a contestant on this season of "Top Chef," so you know the food's good. So, what should you order? General Manager Micki Schlechting recommends the htipiti: "It is the most incredible spread. You can't come here and not have it: marinated roasted red pepper, feta and thyme."
Brush With Fame: Schlechting estimates that TV or movie stars come in once a week, and famous chefs frequent the place, too. Of course, she can't name names. F.Z.
