They've been together since they were freshmen at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va. After meeting in a public speaking class, they realized that they had grown up in Northern Virginia, attended rival high schools and even had mutual friends.

For their honeymoon, the newlyweds went on a cruise through Italy, Greece and Turkey. Justin is a business analyst for Mobile Satellite Ventures, and Aliya is a producer for the Discovery Channel. They live in Arlington.

» How He Proposed: During a weekend getaway at an inn in Maryland, Steve coordinated an unforgettable evening. After a sunset boat cruise and romantic dinner, Steve took Kristin to a gazebo decorated with torches and containing champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. Kristin recalls, "We admired the lovely full moon over the water. As we were laughing about one of our memories, Steve got on one knee and asked me if I was ready to be with him forever. … I, of course, said yes!"

» Celebrating Heritage: Gift bags will include Philly treats such as Tastykakes and Bucks County Coffee Co. samples. At the reception, the waiters will be serving mini-Philly cheesesteaks.

» How He Proposed: "We got up early to go biking in Rock Creek Park. We got out to the rocks by the Park Police station near Military Road, where the creek bends sharply and the sun hits the water in an amazing sparkle in the morning. Looking out at the creek, I asked her if she would marry me."

» Their Song: "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5. Ben says, "Inna might say it's ‘You Can't Always Get What You Want' by the Rolling Stones."

» Wedding Fears: Says Ben, "That Inna's dad will incorporate their two dogs into the ceremony. The Dexters' dogs are notoriously difficult to travel with. Ernie the mini-poodle gets carsick, and Laci the cocker spaniel has bladder control issues."

» The Main Event: They wed in a semi-formal ceremony on Nov. 9 at a mansion in Prince George's County.

» How They Met: At work. Keith was sitting at the cafeteria eating lunch when Monique sat down at his table after she noticed he was reading "The Cornel West Reader." Keith recalls, "At the end of our conversation, Monique asked me to accompany her to a Washington Nationals game the next week. We haven't been apart since then."

» First Impressions: "I thought he was kind of nerdy, [but] I happen to love nerds!" Monique says.

» First Date: They dined at Bangkok 54 in Arlington before seeing "Miami Vice." Monique says, "I told Keith that I hated the movie."

» How He Proposed: "On New Year's Eve. I took Monique to dinner at Firefly followed by jazz at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. After midnight, we returned to her condo, and I told her to close her eyes. When she opened them, I had the ring and asked her." "When Keith asked to plan our New Year's night out, I knew something was up."

» Their Song: "Like a Star" by Corinne Bailey Rae.

On Nov. 8, the couple will be married at St. Clement's, Molly's childhood church, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The same priest who married Fritz's brother and his wife will officiate. The new couple will host their reception at the National Museum of Racing. If the bride had her way, she teases, the groomsmen would wear custom jockey silks.

» First Date: "The night we met was an adventure," recalls Jaime. The couple met with friends at the Bethesda Art Walk. "The friend I brought along for moral support was completely drunk and ended up getting kicked out of one of the galleries. He knocked a drawing of female genitalia off the wall and broke the frame! I'm glad Lori gave me another chance."

» Second Date: They had sushi and watched "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."

» How He Proposed: "We were having our first dinner in our condo that we just moved into, and Jaime brought me a cup of tea and proceeded to get down on one knee to propose. I was like a deer in the headlights and kept telling him to stop joking with me. When I finally realized he was serious, I said yes."

» Their Song: "Jaime made me listen to "Swing Life Away" by Rise Against. I like the words, and there's a line in it that relates to us because we have matching scars. We're using it for our first dance."

» The Main Event: They will marry on Nov. 8 at a boutique hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The ocean-side ceremony will be followed by a reception with a reggae band, a jerk chicken barbecue and a poker tournament. There will also be follow-up parties in Iowa and New York.

» How They Met: Six years ago, through a mutual friend. As Angie explains, "We were ‘bar friends' until Bobby finally got the courage to ask me out. … I made him chase me."

» First Date: At Marrakesh in downtown D.C. on Bobby's 34th birthday.

» When She Knew: "My dog Oliver got really sick. He was hospitalized, and the day he returned home, I had to leave for a work conference for a week. Bobby nursed Ollie back to health. We've been a tight team ever since," she says.

» How He Proposed: "He woke up early, walked the dog (which he never does in the morning, so I should have been suspicious), got dressed in a suit, woke me and popped the question. It was a surprise because I really didn't think he even had the ring yet," she says.
