I had to say no. I have been interested in vampires for hundreds of years.
By Nosferatu , Posted November 21, 2008 6:12 AMI wasn't aware of it until your paper brought it up, and I remain just as indifferent as I was before that.
By Count Indifferentula , Posted November 21, 2008 6:46 AMOnly sort of. I've always had a thing for vampires, ever since I was a kid.
By Kate , Posted November 21, 2008 8:03 AMVampires, huh? I thought they were politicians.
By WTF , Posted November 21, 2008 8:05 AMI'm very excited to see Twilight, but I'll wait for it to come out on DVD so I can get it on Netflix. There's no way I'm going to pay $10 to see it. I doubt the movie will be able to live up to expectations.
Although I did read the entire Twilight saga and loved it, I must admit that the books could have been so much better if only they weren't so rushed by the publishers. I had to fill in the missing pieces of the story with my own imagination, but the idea of love between a vampire and young mortal girl is great.
By Team Edward , Posted November 21, 2008 8:08 AMThat must be one LONG wave. Vampires have been a cultural fad since the original "Buffy" movie with Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry. Personally I am getting tired of it, it's like a broken record. Let's move on to the new wave: aleins...oooh wait. No mummies...ummm no. Werewolves? Nope. Zombies? Done to DEATH. So let's just conclude with there is nothing new under the sun.
By TruPatriot , Posted November 21, 2008 8:47 AMI can't say that vampires have held much more than a passing interest for me throughout my life. To me, the dragon has always been more interesting.
By tscream80 , Posted November 21, 2008 8:48 AMVampires? Do you mean those bloodsucking monsters?
I have been interested in them for a very long time. I desire to see all of them out of our fair city! That is the reason I have been pushing for so long for and end to the corrupt, immoral, and illegal Bush/Cheney regime!! Bush/Cheney and their gang of cronies and thugs have sucked the very soul out of our once-great nation.
But President Barack Obama is going to drive a stake through the heart of those bloodsuckers and usher in a time of Peace, Prosperity, Gender Equality, Justice, and Love!!
See, it is possible to post and not use the letter that is after "V" and before "X"!!
By Zora Hopkins , Posted November 21, 2008 8:54 AMThere's a movie, a tv series AND a book? Wow, I better get on board.
By Brad2 , Posted November 21, 2008 9:00 AMQuite frankly, I'm surprised it's taken the American people this long to become interested in their members of Congress.
By Diogenes , Posted November 21, 2008 9:04 AMI'm an old school buffy the vampire slayer fan but I have completely missed the twilight craze...I've never even heard of twilight until now. I'm into it but not caught up in it.
By Lisa A. , Posted November 21, 2008 9:06 AMKristen Stewart. I'd like to suck her blood. Yummy.
By Brad Longley , Posted November 21, 2008 9:10 AMDid you have to bring this up? I operated better on the down low.
By Dracula , Posted November 21, 2008 9:11 AMWe have the IRS HQ! So who needs vampires?
By Chaos Theorist , Posted November 21, 2008 9:45 AMZora,
By Kevin , Posted November 21, 2008 10:17 AMDiogenes has it right. Members of Congress are vampires how they suck the life out of this country. Oh, and by the way, the majority of them are Democrats and where your precious Obama came from. Is your childish crush Obama also going to stake himself? I would pay to see that.
